Greenwich Village Athletic (GVA) is a local, private member athletic club. We train in squads: a group of people who workout together 2x a week with a dedicated coach.

Squad Training
Squads (10-20 people) train twice a week at the same time and place with their dedicated coaches.
Full body strength and conditioning with specific and personal coaching based on your goals and preferred coaching style.

Run Club, Strength, HIIT, pilates, yoga, and more so you can design a weekly training routine that suits your schedule and goals.
Community
More than a gym, we organize monthly social events and support squad camaraderie with dedicated WhatsApp groups.

​​Workouts feature a dynamic warm up, 2-3 strength blocks, and a conditioning block.

Programming utilizes ergometers and compound free weight movements in a variety of formats (EMOM, AMRAP, etc.) to challenge any level of athlete.​

ADVANCED PERFORMANCE SQUADS.
Precision strength training twice a week in a semi-private squad with a dedicated coach.
Schedule: 2x / Week
Athletes: Max 6
Workout: 60 min Strength & VO2 Work
​​Workouts feature a mobility intro, pre-fatigue warm up, key barbell lift, accessory movements, and a conditioning effort. Each athlete receives personalized weight and output targets that are updated every 12 weeks to ensure progressive overload is achieved.
​
Programming is designed to continually challenge each athlete to grow stronger in the four key lifts and VO2 max conditioning.
